I did post-graduation in MD Pediatrics. Every fundamental field of Pediatrics was incorporated during these three years of concentrated junior residency preparing. After MD, I did the senior residencies in NICU and Intensive care units from reputed health centers.
I enrolled for DM (Doctorate in Medicine) course in the Medical Genetics after my MD Pediatrics. During these three years DM course, I was trained to all fields of medical genetics as Cytogenetic, Mol. genetics, Cancer genetics, Genetic Counseling, Dysmorphology, Hereditary metabolic disorders, Antenatal diagnosis (Invasive and noninvasive testing), Genetic hematology, Neurogenetics, and skeletal dysplasia. There was an efficient and planned schedule for posting in the lab, OPD, and ward so it was adjusted lab and clinical obligations. The greater part of inpatient in medical genetics wards has had a place with Hemoglobinopathies, hemophilia, syndromic, and nonsyndromic learning disabilities and metabolic issues. We have a competent and structured teaching program during this DM course. I have performed as a clinical geneticist, pediatrician, and principal investigator of projects for medical research.
From 2013 to 2017, I functioned as an Assistant professor and consultant in the Department of Medical Genetics (Pediatric subspecialty) and Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, KAU University, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Since July 2017, I am working in AIIMS, Rishikesh, India as an Associate Professor in the pediatrics department. Scholastically, I am assigned as co-guide for five master students, one Ph.D. student, and principal investigator for two projects.
