Graduated from Duke Medical School in 1970. Practiced and taught medical oncology in Washington DC x20 years and then was faculty and program director in internal medicine residency program until retirement in 2015 at Prince George's Hospital Center which is now the University of Maryland at Prince George's. In my work with the residents we presented over 100 posters and presentations at ACP meetings. I was active in developing programs for HIV and Hepatitis C in our clinic.
