Dr. Aristizabal graduated from the prestigious Aesthetic Medicine Residency program at "Our Lady of the Rosary University" Universidad del Rosario, in Bogota - Colombia.

During his residency training, that was focused in non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures for the face and body, Dr. Aristizabal visited world-renowned cosmetic dermatology practices like Shino Bay Cosmetic Dermatology & Laser institute under the direction of Dr. Shino Bay Aguilera, Aesthetic Dermatologist, at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, and the Gold Skin Care Center, under the direction of Dr. Michael Gold, Dermatologist in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

Dr. Aristizabal has published in several indexed journals, peer review articles for several journals and serves as associate editor of the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. Dr. Aristizabal has participated as speaker at national and international dermatology congresses like IMCAS Americas, DASIL annual Conference and Face/Body in the USA. Currently, he is the co-founder of ADEI - Aesthetics & Dermatology Institute, a clinic located in Bogota, where he offers aesthetic medical services as well as serves as the medical advisor of various local pharma companies developing research projects at his office.
