A multifaceted and highly motivated internal medicine physician with a strong clinical Hematology/Oncology background and an in-depth insight of the medical and clinical sector. I was a Leukemia Fellow at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2011 to 2012 and 2018 to 2019 and the Oncologic Hospital Medicine Fellow at MD at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2019-2020. I have received a variety of honors, including being chief medical resident and patient care awards. I won the 2019 and 2020 Conquer Cancer Foundation of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Merit Awards. . I submitted many abstracts to the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). I recently published how to manage thrombocytopenia in CML and myelofibrosis patients by using eltrombopag. I also published the outcomes of acute myeloid leukemia patients with concurrent FLT3-ITD and IDH mutations. I participated in the publication regarding the clinical impact of time to response in de novo accelerated phase CML. Moreover, this year I participated in the publication βPost-transplantation cyclophosphamide reduces the incidence of acute graft-versus-host disease in patients with acute myeloid leukemia/myelodysplastic syndromes who receive immune checkpoint inhibitors after
allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation". This month, my review manuscript about the new generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors for CML was accepted for publication.
