I am specialist of anesthesiology & ICU, and EDPM certified from EFIC. I am president of Professional Health Association (PHA) in Kosovo which is engaged in the organization of conferences, workshops, courses, training of health professionals in diagnosing and managing pain. I have organized 7 International Pain Treatment Conferences with lecturers from different countries. For the past 10 years I have been intensively taken with the improvement pain management in the country, at all levels including government, ministry, terciary, secondary and primary healthcare, for activities like: initiating the creation of protocols and guidelines for pain management, the introduction of pain management subject in the faculty of medicine, continuing education about pain management for all health professionals through conferences, courses, workshops etc., introduction of pain assessment according to scaling in the health information system etc. I have done many clinical research at national level, and I was leader of Pain Out Research Project about postoperative pain management at two biggest hospital in Prishtina and Prizren.
