Being resident of an under developed nation where malnourishment is rampant. This malnourishment plays a pivotal role in bodily as well as mental poor growth of the most vulnerable group of children and underweight pregnant females. To deal with this endemic issue of malnutrition there has been an ever need of a person with zeal and proper qualification. Keeping this situation and with the keen interest of our government I had opportunity to do PhD in human Nutrition from University of Glasgow, UK. My field of interest and thesis was in undernourished and malnourished children and young adults.

I have presented by research work in international conferences. My research work on undernourished children and undernourished females has been presented in United Kingdom, Switzerland and Germany. One of my abstract on my research project on underweight school going children from Pakistan has been published as an outstanding abstract as well. Being one of the very few experts in the field of human nutrition more specifically the child health and only female in the province, I want to utilize my expertise for the full betterment of my society. I want to establish a highly equipped laboratory and probe into the malnutrition status, treatment, management and preventive strategies based on local data and research. Because the research conducted in the West may not fully applicable to the local circumstances of this part of the world.
