Hello, I am Richard Tirado, a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I majored in Biology and minored in Anthropology. I assisted in developing a COVID-19 research study headed by Dr. Emily Hotez, Adjunct Assistant Professor at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, to understand students’ experiences during this pandemic involving an online survey. The results were presented at the 2020 UCLA Maternal & Child Health Virtual Poster Symposium and to elected officials at the California Legislative Black Caucus Youth Forum: The Pandemic of Health and Hate. Currently, I am a Content Developer and Social Media Manager for Dr. Emeran Mayer, MD (emeranmayer.com) and an Education assistant at Huntington Medical Research Institutes (HMRI).
