Gemeda Abebe is Molecular Medical Microbiologist currently works at the Mycobacteriology Research Center, Jimma University. Gemeda does research in Immunology, Molecular Biology and Microbiology. Their current project are 'Tuberculosis Diagnostic Challenges in Ethiopia, Culture-free diagnosis and follow-up of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis patients in Africa and Improved infectious diseases research and surveillance in Ethiopia through capacity building in bioinformatics and sequencing.'
