Dr. Nardello graduated as a medical doctor from UNCuyo in Mendoza, Argentina. At the same institution, she carried out research relevant to E. coli and its direct influence with cases of Uremic Hemolytic Syndrome in the pediatric population of the same geographical area. Epidemiological research was also focused in demonstrating detection methods for E. coli in food and water.
Afterwards, her epidemiological related research has continued in the Division of Environmental Pediatrics at NYU where the department studies how exposure to environmental factors influence pregnant women's health as well as that of their unborn children and later on in life.
