I am a clinical geneticist, since 2004 head of the Dept. of Genetic Counseling of Saarland University, and a medical ethicist, being member of the Deutscher Ethikrat (German Ethics Council) since 2016. Here, I conducted the working group ethics of vaccination focused on measles in 2018/19, and I am currently involved as a government counselor in COVID-19 vacicnation policy.
