About
Dr. Karsy is an Assistant Professor in Neurosurgery, Neurooncology and Skull Base. He treats tumor, vascular, and spine pathologies through minimally-invasive endoscopic and traditional, open microsurgical approaches. Dr. Karsy also has experience with radiosurgery in a variety of complex cranial pathologies. He completed his residency at the University of Utah. In addition to training, he completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spine as well as Masters in Bioengineering specifically in medical device development at the University of Utah. Afterwards, he completed a fellowship in skull base and neurooncology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. His research interests are in improving health care outcomes, novel surgical approaches, and better molecular characterization of tumor.
