Mrs. Rupinder Deol is currently working as Assistant Professor at College of Nursing, AIIMS Rishikesh. She is also having the additional responsibility of Assistant Dean, Student Welfare, AIIMS Rishikesh. She completed her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana and Masters in Pediatric Nursing from Christian Medical College, Vellore. She is currently a PhD scholar under National Consortium, INC. She has been teaching neonatal nursing and pediatric nursing to both graduate and post graduate students since past 14 years. She has also taught and guided nursing fellowship candidates under National Neonatology Forum, India. She is also a mentor for online courses in newborn care run by AIIMS Delhi in collaboration with WHO (Ontop online). She did her observership in NICU at Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto, Canada in 2019. She has complete course in “Advanced Pediatric Cardiology Program” by Sick Kids Hospital, Canada in May, 2021. She has various national and international paper publications to her credit. She is reviewer for various journals. She was given the award of “Faculty with distinguished research aptitude” on Teacher’s Day (2018) by Director, AIIMS Rishikesh. She is member of various national and international pediatric, neonatal and nursing associations. AHA certified BLS instructor. AHA certified PALS, ACLS and ATCN provider.
