I am an Associate Professor at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine, and a Health Economist/ Associate Investigator at Northwell Health. Prior to this, I was Senior Director of Evaluation, Research and Analysis in the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Before that, I served as the Director of Data Analysis and Assistant Professor in Health Policy at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. I have a PhD in Economics from Stony Brook University where I was a game theory student of Robert Aumann, economics Nobel Prize winner. I have over 20 years of statistical analysis and healthcare research experience and a deep familiarity with modern computational methods and data. I have published over 70 peer-reviewed papers in leading international journals.
