My current area of research is to make dentistry affordable, cost-effective, patient-friendly and accessible. For this purpose, I am involved in innovations and development of newer technologies and devices (development of a recliner for patients with movement disabilities – Patent already filed and application published), learning sign language (in order to interact with patients with hearing/speaking disability), exploring the possibility of ozone therapy in dentistry.
I have been continuously involved in organizing dental health check-up camps at different villages and districts throughout Uttar Pradesh. I am also involved in interactive teaching, using unconventional teaching methods by encouraging interaction with students in class and outside the class.
In the long-term, I wish to establish Dentistry as a more respectable and honorable profession keeping high standards of professionalism with the benefit of patient as the central idea behind practice.
