I am a Certified Medical Dosimetrist at the University of Alabama-Birmingham where I create treatment plans for radiation therapy cancer patients. I Graduated from The University of Mississippi in 2009 with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. I also attended The University of Mississippi Medical Center finishing with a Bachelors in Radiological Sciences in 2012. I was accepted into the Radiation Therapy/Medical Dosimetry Program with 21st Century Oncology where I completed and received two certifications; one as a Radiation Therapist in 2013 and the second being Medical Dosimetrist in 2014. My research on the topic of VMAT TBI has been dedicated to creating optimal planning techniques. I would say one of my main goals is creating a fluid treatment process which reduces treatment times as well increased organ sparing.
