Ali Zia Ansari, D.O. is a graduate of William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine with a strong interest in Family Medicine and plans to pursue a fellowship in Sports Medicine. He has authored over 30 PubMed-indexed publications, many as first author, with more than 150 citations to date. His research has explored topics such as the neurophysiology of caffeine, atypical infectious diseases, complex oncologic case presentations, and rare neuropsychiatric syndromes. Dr. Ansari is the creator of the Mnemosyne deck, a comprehensive, high-yield flashcard resource for Anki designed to help medical students prepare for both the USMLE Step 1 and COMLEX Level 1 licensing exams. The deck has been used by over 100,000 aspiring physicians in more than 100 countries, with many crediting it as a key tool in their success. Outside of medicine, Dr. Ansari enjoys building intricate LEGO models, especially those inspired by classical architecture and botanical structures. He is also a classically trained pianist and guitarist, and has accompanied vocalists and ensembles in a variety of musical settings.
