I have been Professor and Head Dept Microbiology at Armed Forces Medical College. I am a PhD Teacher and Examiner. Have taught Undergraduates, Postgraduates and Nursing Faculty. Involved in Eight Research Projects involving HIV-TB co-infection, Diagnosis of Tuberculosis using molecular techniques and also Research on Autoimmune diseases. Published 50 articles in both International and National Journals. Peer Reviewer for Indian J Med Microbiol, Med J Armed Forces India, Int J Antimicrobial Agents, Guest Associate Editor for Journal of Biomed Research INternational (Himdawi) issue on Blood-stream Infections; Presently Guest Associate Editor for Frontiers Journal of Reproductive Health for Issue on Reproductive Tract Infections and Implication on Womens; Health. Was attached to UCLA for three months for Fogarty Exchange program on HIV-AIDS Immunology and Disease in year 2002.
