Dr. Abhijit Mukherjee is a public health researcher who did his M.B.B.S. from North Bengal Medical College, Darjeeling in 1995. He also holds a D.T.C.D. (Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases) from I.P.G.M.E.R., Kolkata and an M.D. in Community Medicine (Public Health), from R.G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata. His interest areas are Epidemiology, Tuberculosis, R.N.T.C.P., sanitation and waste disposal.
