I have 4 years of research experience in cystic fibrosis. Specifically my work has been focused on precision medicine approaches. I have published original research manuscripts on a lung-on-a-chip model, nasal epithelial organoid model, and in vivo drug concentrations of CFTR modulators. I have also been involved with several projects that have resulted in published abstracts, to include work on iPSC organoid models, miRNA therapies in organoid models, pharmacogenomics, pharmacokinetic modeling, and electrophysiological assessment (short-circuit current and patch clamp). Breadth of clinical research includes all age groups, not just pediatrics. I am currently in medical school at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.
