My career path in medicine has not been very linear. After completing my IM residency in 2006, I joined the same program as IM faculty, enjoyed the teaching role with inpatient medicine and outpatient general medicine practice. I have enjoyed in roles of assistant program director for IM residency and director of ambulatory clinic. I have worked on multiple Research and scholarly projects with internal medicine residents. Recently, I decided to pursue the field of infectious disease, fellowship will be completed in June, 2021.
