About
I am a general practitioner from Ecuador, graduated in 2018. I worked for the Public Health Ministry in my home country for one year, and after that, I worked as an Internal Medicine resident. Currently, I'm preparing for my exams to do a specialty and working part-time on research in my home country. While I was a medical student I worked with an international medical student's association where we addressed many public health issues; the committee I belonged to focused on the issues of SRHR, including AIDS. I have always had an immense interest in mental health issues. I actively try to raise mental health awareness and minimize the stigma that remains in our society towards mental health issues, with small acts repeated daily. I enjoy team-working and learning new things from people, and I am a good listener.
