Dr. Azzam is currently a Faculty/ Consultant of Orthopaedic Surgery at The National Institute of Neuromotor System in Cairo- Egypt. He is a member of AO Trauma foundation, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Egyptian Orthopaedic association. Dr. Azzam was a Fellow of Orthopaedic Surgery at the BG Klinik Tübingen hospital in Tubengin, Germany. He obtained his PhD., MD, in Orthopaedic Surgery (2009), and also Master in Hospital Management (2012).Dr. Azzam is Editorial board member in CPQ Orthopaedics Journal. Dr. Azzam is a Peer Reviewer at The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Journal, He is a certified Peer Reviewer of Orthopaedic Publications in the Publons Academy , Also he is one of the Mentors of Orthopaedic Publishers in Publons Academy. Dr. Azzam is a Peer Reviewer in the Journal of Musculoskeletal Surgery and Research | Published by Wolters Kluwer, Medknow - Which is the official publication of Saudi Orthopaedic Association . He supervised many PhD., MD, and Master thesis in the Egyptian Universities. Dr. Azzam shared as a supervisor and a discussion committee member of more than 60 PhD., MD, and Master theses in the Egyptian Universities . Dr. Azzam is the Former Dean of the National Institute of Neuromotor System . He is a Faculty member (National & Regional), Course Chairperson, Instructor, Workshop Director the and Discussion Group Moderator in AO Trauma Egyptian chapter . He is a Scientific Board Member of the Professional Diploma in Limb Reconstruction Surgery Issued by the Arab Institute for Continuing Professional Development (AICPD) from 2013 until now . He is a Faculty member, Instructor, workshop Director the and discussion groups Moderator in the Egyptian Orthopedic Association since 2011 till now. Dr. Azzam is the Founder and Training Supervisor of the Professional Diploma of Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery in the General Organization of Teaching Hospitals and Institutes in Cairo-Egypt. He is an Exam committee member in Egyptian Fellowship of Orthopaedics & Trauma (EFOT) .Dr Azzam is a faculty member in the Arab Board in Orthopedics .
