Georgios Labiris is an Associate Professor in Ophthalmology in Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. He graduated from the Medical School of the Semmelweis University, Hungary. He holds an MSc from the University of California (Santa Ana), USA and a PhD from the University of Ioannina, Greece. His main research interests are cataract surgery, multifocal intraocular lens implants, refractive surgery and corneal disorders. He has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and has participated in national and international congresses with presentations, posters and lectures. He is a reviewer in 12 journals and member of the editorial committee in two.
