I have obtained my PhD in Pharmacology with specialty in vascular biology at the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands (2004). Since then I have substantial postdoctoral research experience in cardiovascular diseases associated with endothelial dysfunction. I have published more than 25 scientific papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as hypertension, arteriosclerosis thrombosis and vascular biology (ATVB), and Science Translational Medicine.
