About
I am a Gastroenterology Consultant and Hepatology Lead at the University Hospitals of Morecambe NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Lancaster Infirmary. I’ve previously enjoyed placements in the Liver Transplant Unit at St James's University Hospital in Leeds, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease experience before joining Northwest-Deanery.
I am also the Training Lead for Gastroenterology Trainees at Royal Lancaster Infirmary and a member of the Gastroenterology Speciality Training Committee (STC) for Health Education England-North West Deanery.
My special interests in Gastroenterology and Hepatology include Acute Liver Failure, Metabolic liver Disease, Autoimmune Hepatitis, Portal Hypertension and Liver Cirrhosis. I am a (JAG) accredited GI endoscopy Trainer and IMPACT instructor, as well as a GMC approved trainer.
As a hospital consultant, teacher, question writer and examiner, I am progressive in building daily practices towards learning and working with cross-functional teams for enduring commitment to lifelong learning.
