About

Dr Hemlata is Additional professor in Anaesthesiology working in KGMU, Lucknow since 2015. She had done PDCC in Neuroanaesthesiology from SGPGIMS, Lucknow and currently she’s involved as a faculty for PDCC Neuroanaesthesia at her Institute. She has also done Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine (Advanced Course) from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. Besides clinical works, she is also involved in teaching and training of postgraduate students, undergraduate medical and dental students, paramedical and nursing students and has supervised thesis works of more than 35 PG students (5 as Guide and rest as Co-guide) till date. She is an ACS certified ATLS Instructor, AHA certified BLS/ACLS Instructor, IRC certified BCLS/CCLS Instructor and ACCC Instructor; and has trained many candidates from India and abroad in the last five years. She has more than 45 publications in indexed National and International journals and 10 book chapters to her credit. She is an Editorial board member of ACCMJ and Reviewer for IJA, IJPN, JCDR and APICARE journals. She was awarded “Outstanding Cinician in Anaesthesiology” award in 2019 and Research Excellence Award in 2022. She was awarded Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians(FRCP), London in 2023 and FIACM in 2023. She was awarded Indian Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia (IDRA) by Indian College of Anaesthesiologists in 2022. She was felicitated by Indian Medical Association, Lucknow Branch in July, 2021 for excellence in field of anaesthesia and contribution towards amelioration of sufferings of the needy. She has delivered many guest lectures and presented papers/posters in National as well as International conferences.
