Mr Johnston works in the Major Trauma Center in Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge UK and his practice is divided between hand and wrist, and general trauma. He has served as Training Programme Director in T&O and currently acts as Chairperson for AOUKI Basic Principles courses.
