About
I am a Registered Nurse with a passion for educating medical professionals on the endocannabinoid system and the phytocannabinoids. Especially nurses and our newest doctors as cannabis becomes more and more prevalent in use by the populace either through medical marijuana laws, adult marijuana laws or even the use of CBD which is it's own answer or nightmare depending upon whether one has the adequate knowledge in their toolbox to get what they are paying for or a bottle of useless or potentially hazardous hard metals. There are too many patients getting medical cards after spending money they don't really have, doing everything the system tells them to do and than heading off to the dispensary to stand in a line, only to be overwhelmed and sold a product that doesn't match their need or current condition by an over eager bud tender who has no training in medicine and a sales quota and minimal time to engage. This is not how we should be treating our patients, regardless of how we feel about the very nature of the medicine itself. There are many who utilize this route as a last ditch attempt when all else has failed them and we, as their health care providers are failing them once again by failing to be informed about even the basics in how they should be interacting with this drug in order to benefit from it's usage.
