Pulmonary Diseases, Chief-Fellow. Finished Internal Medicine Residency at Yale University-Affiliated Griffin Hospital In Derby, Connecticut. More than 5-year International work experience in Clinical Care, and more than 2-year experience in the US Public Health sector/Department of Health. Master's Degree at The George Washington University, Milken School of Public Health Certified Health Education Specialist.
Currently research focus is on pulmonary infections, specifically Disseminated Cocciomycosis. MD Dissertation was the evaluation of postoperative pain management in a tertiary care hospital. MPH thesis was a collaborative project between the George Washington University, and the Maryland Department of Health, qualitative research assessing barriers and facilitators to health care access for recently resettled Afghan Refugees. My main research interest area is population health, well-being, and the determining factors for these statuses. Clinical research interests: Pulmonary infections, lung cancer, interventional Pulmonology.
