There is no comprehensive study into the incidence rate and hospitalization characteristics of patients pertaining to their length of stay, total charges of treatment, Procedure performed, household income, age, gender, hospital location, payment methods, and race for Hepatitis and Cirrhosis patients. This paper covers the gap by analyzing Hepatitis B+D and Cirrhosis. This study utilized the National (Nationwide) Inpatient Sample (NIS). A study was conducted to determine the incidence and cost of management of Hepatitis B+D and Cirrhosis patients. I completed my Ph.D. in Biomedical Science. My interest is in research, for diagnosing and treatment of diseases.
