Georges Yared MD, MHM, PhD (Candidate)
I am an assistant professor in obstetrics and gynecology at LAU-SOM. I have an MD degree from the Lebanese University, two fellowships from France, University of Claude Bernard Lyon and University of Clermont Ferrand, a Master degree in healthcare and quality management Technology Management from the Lebanese University faculty of Sciences, and a PhD candidate in Public Health from Atlantic International University Florida USA. I have culminated great experiences in the academic and teaching fields, specifically in Simulation-Based Medical Education, Healthcare Management, and Risk Management (from US Embassy, French Embassy, UK, LAU and LU). During 18 years of practice I have attained several national and international diplomas, certifications, and publications. I was elected board member of the Lebanese Order of Physicians in 2013, advisor in Ministry of social affairs and Ministry of public health. In addition, I am member of several national and international committees related to simulation, scientific societies, quality management and accreditation.
