After receiving my PhD at Northwestern I worked as a research associate at the University of Miami doing research on neuronal development and regeneration. After around 5 years I took a position in the teaching faculty at a new Medical school in South Florida. I am still at this University, now called Nova Southeastern University. For many years I was an Assistant Dean for the Masters of Biomedical science program as well as course director of the Neuroanatomy and Histology to Medical, Dental, and Graduate students. I am no longer the Assistant Dean but I still am the course director of the Neuroanatomy and Histology courses.
