I am a board certified Neurologist with sub specializations in Neurocritical Care by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties, and in Neurosonology by the American Society of Neuroimaging. I am Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of South Carolina-Greenville School of Medicine. My research interests include improving outcomes in patients with ischemic, hemorrhagic strokes and in patients with other forms of acute brain injury. I am the site Principal Investigator of the Southeast Collaborative Alliance for Stroke Trials (SE-CoAST), a regional network of 29 stroke centers that aims to address three prongs of stroke research: prevention, treatment and recovery.
