In my medical career, I envision myself working as an academic physician at a research university in my home state of Florida and contributing much to the growing knowledge of the medical profession. My dream is to become a future leader in healthcare who will lead students, collaborative research projects and medical teams to provide excellent care to all populations. I have great interest in developing cultural competency to connect with all my patients, and I seek to reduce healthcare disparities in my local community as well as globally in Latin America.
