Dr. Lam is a musculoskeletal, sports and pain physician from Hong Kong. He is a Clinical Associate Professor (Honorary) in the Faculty of Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and he is also the President of the Hong Kong Institute of Musculoskeletal Medicine, and the Founding President of the MSKUS Asia Pacific. He is also the Honorary Consultant of the Taiwan Association of Prolotherapy and Regenerative Medicine.

Dr. Lam is registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK) credential in United States of America, awarded with RMSK Pioneer Certificate of The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in 2012. Dr. Lam is also a pain physician with board certification in CIPS (Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist) and FIPP (Fellow of Interventional Pain Physician) by the World Institute of Pain in 2017. Dr. Lam is also certified in POCUS (MSK Tissues) by the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement.
Dr. Lam has been a teaching faculty and Examiner of The World Institute of Pain since 2018.

Dr. Lam is a Teaching Faculty of MSKUS in United States of America for teaching diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound guided interventional procedures in different Universities of USA since 2011, including University of California San Francisco, University of North Texas, and the Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Dr. Lam is a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine (AAOM) and received the first batch of certificate in Prolotherapy in 2010. Dr Lam has been the Teaching Faculty of AAOM since Apr 2013, mainly teaching advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnosis and ultrasound guided intervention in annual conference and hands-on workshop.

Dr. Lam has delivered numerous lectures and hands-on workshops in the following topics: “ultrasound guided hydrodissection of peripheral nerves and deep nerves” in different universities and conferences; “Dynamic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Scanning of Different Joints and Nerves”; “US Guided Injection of Cervical Spine, Thoracic Spine and Lumbar Spine”; and “Regenerative medicine for managing sports injury, musculoskeletal medicine and chronic pain”.
