I am a practicing infectious disease clinician and the director of the OSF System Microbiology and Immunology Labs. My work focuses on the opportunities to improve laboratory diagnostics to aid physicians in caring for patients with unrecognized culture negative infections through the use of advanced molecular diagnostics.
