I am a doctoral-level medical microbiologist and clinical microbiology laboratory director for two healthcare institutions in central Indiana. In addition to my clinical service work, I am also an academician who has a basic research laboratory that studies the ecology, epidemiology, diagnosis, and medical countermeasure development of/for emerging viruses, including arthropod-, bat-, and rodent-borne viruses.
