About
Michael Nemeth is the Program Manager for the Firefighter Prehospital Care Program at the Sunnybrook Centre for Prehospital Medicine, Program Manager and Infection Control Practitioner of the Toronto Fire Services Infection Control Program Program and Acting District Chief of the Special Operations Section of Training and Technical Operations / Toronto Fire Services. Michael brings with him over 40 years of experience as a paramedic, firefighter, educator, leader and advocate within Prehospital care.
In addition to Michaelโs professional experience, he holds a variety of leadership positions on many national and international committees such as the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Canadian Red Cross and was the past Vice President of the National Association of EMS Educators.
He is a frequent faculty member at local, national and international conferences and has published multiple articles within Prehospital care journals. Michael strongly believes that our Prehospital care clients are best served by competent and compassionate practitioners who have been mentored by exemplary educators and daily strive for excellence on their journey to life-long learning.
