Christoph Metzner was born in Rodalben, Germany in 1980. He received a Diploma in Mathematics and a Bachelor in Computer Sciencefrom University of Saarbruecken, Germany, in 2008/09. He is currently a PhD student, supported by Germany’s Excellence Initiative, at the Institute for Robotics and Cognitive Systems and at the Graduate School for Computing in Medicine and Life Sciences, both at the University of Lübeck, Germany. His research interests are on computational modeling of sensory perception (visual, auditory and olfactory) and its impairment in neurological and psychiatric diseases.
