About
I've been studying sweating disorders in peripheral neuropathy since I completed my Master's Degree. I have a Ph.D. in neuroscience and currently, I'm a part-time professor in the physiotherapy department at a private University (Faculdade Anhanguera) in Brazil. A few years ago (2016-2017) I had international research experience in Germany (Johannes Gutenberg University) where I could run pain perception experiments in humans diagnosed with small fiber neuropathies. Currently, we are working on a new test that may help early diagnose Familial Amyloid Polyneuropathy by the means of sweating tests.
