Dr. S.K. Jakaria Been Sayeed, FCPS, FRCP FCR, a postgraduate from of Royal College of Physicians, Harvard Medical School, completed his MBBS from Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, Dhaka. Dr. Jakaria completed 4 years of full-time residency training in Medicine from Dhaka Medical College as a part of a fellowship program under Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is also working as a research assistant in the Rheumatology Clinic of the same institute for the last 4 years. He is practicing Medicine and Rheumatology at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, one of the renowned, top most medical centers in Bangladesh. He already has 40 publications in the different reputed scientific journals both national & amp; international, has co-authorship in spanning several other publications including Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygeine, APLAR (2018, 2020,2021,2022), Lupus Congress. He already acting as study coordinator in a vaccine trial against CHIKV infection, acted as a research assistant in Voclosporin in lupus nephritis Phase II trial. Recently he completed 2 years diploma course in Rheumatology under EULAR School. He has conducted a randomized controlled trial with Ivermectin in covid patients which has already been published in the International Journal of Medical research and also his work on Post Covid syndrome has been published in PLOS ONE achieved appreciation from different scientific societies.
