I am an Associate Professor in Emergency medicine at Government Medical College, Kannur, Kerala, India. This institute is 1150 bedded hospital with post graduate MD program in Emergency Medicine. I have 8 years of post graduate teaching experience in Emergency Medicine and attended many national and international conferences. I have 4 publications. We are managing around 100 to 150 patients in the ED per day. The department caters trauma and non trauma patients. Each year 2 post graduate students are taken up for 3 year PG MD program. The Department is also actively involved in BLS- ACLS training to HCWs and BLS training to Lay Persons. Now this is a level 3 Covid care Hospital catering Covid 19 with C symptoms. I am a AHA certified BLS- ACLS Instructor.
