About

Teddy Warner, Ph.D., is a psychologist, ethicist, and research methodologist who retired from 23 years of full-time work at UNM in 2017 as Research Professor Emeritus. His main faculty appointment was in the School of Medicine, where he conducted over $25 million in mostly NIH-funded research over the years, and he also served 17 years on the UNM HSC IRB as well as Ethicist for UNM’S HSC Clinical Translational Science Center. He has taught research methods to postdoctoral physicians for the past 14 years continuing today, and he has taught many psychology courses over the years, including multivariate statistics and research methods but also seminars in political psychology and psychology of terrorism. For the past 8 years he has served as the Chair of the IRB Committee for the Psychology Dept. and continues in that role while working 25% effort for UNM in retirement.
