After my initial training at Mount Sinai in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular disease and further advanced training at University of Minnesota in Cardiac Electrophysiology with Dr Benditt, I have Ben fortunate to further advance my expertise in EP by working with some of the pioneering practitioners in our field.
I worked with Dr Moussa Mansour at Mass General and Dr Bill Stevenson at Brigham in epicardial ablations, Dr Marchlinsky's team in aortic cusp VTs and Dr Seth Worley in interventional device implants. I have collaborated extensively with Dr Shivkumar at UCLA
I perform over 700 procedures each year including complex ablations for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia with cryo and radiofrequency and device implantations including complex biventricular defibrillators involving peripheral and coronary venoplasty.
I pioneered the use of percutaneous left ventricular assist devices in Electrophysiology for mapping and ablation of hemodynamically unstable VTs in the state of Washington. I am also actively involved in research being the principal investigator of multiple major clinical trials in atrial fibrillation apart from several device trials.
In these past years, I have established an EP program in two of the biggest health care systems providing the whole array of EP services including ablative and device therapies, Cryo and RF ablations, pLVAD assisted ablations, laser lead management, interventional implants and in the near future LAA closure among others.
I am confident that with my work experience as a leader and role model in EP practice, I have the qualifications, expertise and temperament for performing to the highest degree and assure you of my utmost dedication to your practice.
