Dr. Mohd Fareed (PhD) graduated from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He is the DST-INSPIRE faculty and AcSIR Assistant Professor at CSIR Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine. He is currently engaged as principal investigator of major research projects exploring the genetic disorders, using the next-generation sequencing (NGS) platform. He has more than 20 peer-reviewed international publications and has delivered numerous oral and posters presentations in several international meetings. Dr. Fareed has been credited multiple awards including CSIR-SRF, GATE and SERB-NPDF. He is the life member of the Indian Society of Human Genetics and sessional members of numerous biological societies. He is the reviewer and guest editor of several peer-reviewed international journals.
