Joaquín Pimentel received his M.D. from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (2015), completed his residency in Pediatrics and Allergy and Immunology in the Center of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology (WAO Center of Excellence) at “Hospital Infantil de México Federico Gómez” (HIMFG).
His research interests include the severe cutaneous adverse reactions, food allergy, hypersensitivity reactions to beta-lactam and anaphylaxis.
He has been on a committee for an international medical knowledge competition and he is a junior member of the EAACI.
