Dr. Ten attended Belarussian State Medical University in Belarus, where she earned her medical degree. She then completed her fellowships in pediatric endocrinology at Moscow School of Medicine in Russia and Akita University School of Medicine in Japan. Dr. Ten then moved to the United States to complete her residency in pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center. She continued her training by completing another fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Ten is affiliated with RUMC and NYU and is certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinology, the Pediatric Academic Society, the Pediatric Endocrine Society, and the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and American Academy of Diabetes Educators. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator. Dr. Ten has received several awards recognizing her vast and impressive medical experience and research including the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society award as an international scholar at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Maimonides Research Foundation award for the role of Insulin resistance in Steatohepititis
