I am a full Professor of Ophthalmology at the Ahi Evran University and Ophthalmic Surgeon at Training and Research Hospital in Kırşehir. I am currently head of the Ophthalmology clinic at the same university. After graduating from Ankara University Medical School in 1997, I completed the residency program in Ophthalmology at Ankara University. My scientific focus is on neuro-ophthalmology and retinal diseases. I have published more than 140 articles in peer-reviewed journals. I am a reviewer for a number of peer-reviewed journals including for clinical studies in the field of anterior and posterior segments of the eye. I am an active member of the Neuro-Ophthalmology, Medical Retina and Ocular Infection Soceities of Turkish Ophthalmological Association.
