I am working as an Assistant Professor of Physiology in AMC/PGMI. After doing my MBBS, I did my MPhil from Post Graduate Medical Institute Lahore, Pakistan and was awarded gold medal. My thesis topic was " comparison of effect of different prebiotics on serum lipid profile and inflammatory markers of high fat fed rats." Now I am incharge of Animal house of PGMI and help the candidates in research. In addition to teaching Physiology to students our department also plan research projects for medical students. I am part of lots of research projects carried out by my department.
The present work was designed to determine whether HFHC diet, MSG diet or their combination is faster/more potent inducer of MS.
It was concluded that both HFHC and MSG containing diets when given alone are potent inducers of MS in rat model rather than their combination.
