I graduated in 1987 from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. Then I went to UK and received all the pre- and post-fellowship training in Ophthalmology at Leeds University Hospital, UK. I Passed FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK in 1994.
Since then I have been practicing as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in the Subspecialties of Pediatric Ophthalmology, Oculoplastics, Neuro-ophthalmology, Ocular Surface Diseases.
I teach on-line to post-graduates. I have 65 Research Publications in peer reviewed journals, written 4 ophthalmology books and 7 book chapters.
